TalentCheetah, LLC., including its affiliates (”TalentCheetah”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) is committed to maintaining robust privacy protections for you, whether personally or on behalf of an entity (“you”,“user”). TalentCheetah operates this Site to provide our users (“you” and “your”) with information about TalentCheetah and its platform. TalentCheetah is used by professional freelancers (“Freelancers”) who wish to offer their services (“Services”) and clients who need the Services (“Clients”).

Our Privacy Policy (“Privacy Policy”) is designed to help you understand how we collect, use and safeguard the information you provide to us and to assist you in making informed decisions when using our Service. For purposes of this Agreement, “Site” refers to our website, blogs, social media accounts, or apps in which TalentCheetah’s service can be accessed in which users can view the website and subscribe to and use our software, products, and services (“Service,” collectively the “Services”).

Please take the time to carefully read this Privacy Policy as your privacy is important to us. If you have any questions on how we collect, use, protect, or otherwise handle your Personal Information (as further described below), please contact us as described herein.

Unless otherwise defined in this Privacy Policy, terms used in this Privacy Policy have the same meaning as in our Terms of Use. By using the Services, you consent to our collection, storage, use and disclosure of your Personal Information under the terms set forth herein.


We collect “Non-Personal Information” and “Personal Information.” Non-Personal Information includes information that cannot be used to personally identify you, such as anonymous usage data, general demographic information we may collect, referring/exit pages and URLs, platform types, preferences you submit and preferences that are generated based on the data you submit and number of clicks.

Personal Information includes your email, phone number, personal name, business name and address which you submit to us through the registration process at the Site. We also collect personal information related to Freelancer applications to join and use the Service. This information includes information we gather during your initial screening and necessary to verify your qualifications including but not limited to: (a) name, (b) contact information, (c) address, (d) location, (e) work experience, (f) education, (g) photo, (h) social network data, (i) family information, (j) billing information, and (k) identification.

  1. Information collected via Technology. In an effort to improve the quality of the Services, we automatically track information provided to us by your browser or by our software application when you view or use the Services, such as the website you came from (known as the “referring URL”), the type of browser you use, the device from which you connected to the Services, the time and date of access, and other information that does not personally identify you. We track this information using cookies, or small text files which include an anonymous unique identifier. Cookies are sent to a user’s browser from our servers and are stored on the user’s computer hard drive. Sending a cookie to a user’s browser enables us to collect Non-Personal information about that user and keep a record of the user’s preferences when utilizing our Services, both on an individual and aggregate basis. TalentCheetah may use both persistent and session cookies; persistent cookies remain on your computer after you close your session and until you delete them, while session cookies expire when you close your browser.

  2. Information you provide us by registering for an account. In addition to the information provided automatically by your browser when you visit the Site, to become a customer to the Service you will need to create a personal profile. You can create a profile by registering with the Service and entering your full name, phone number, email address, referral source, mailing address and creating a username and a password. By registering, you are authorizing us to collect, store and use your email address in accordance with this Privacy Policy.


Personal Information:

Except as otherwise stated in this Privacy Policy, we do not sell, trade, rent or otherwise share for marketing purposes your Personal Information with third parties without your consent. TalentCheetah primarily uses the Personal Information to provide the Service and/or to register the user for service whether as a Client or qualified Freelancer. We will use certain of your Personal Data to enable you to create a profile to be displayed within the Services; this profile is searchable and may be viewed by Clients seeking Freelancers. We do share Personal Information with vendors who are performing services through the TalentCheetah platform, such as for third party integrations. Those vendors use your Personal Information only at our direction and in accordance with our Privacy Policy. In general, the Personal Information you provide to us is used to help us communicate with you. For example, we use Personal Information to contact users in response to questions, solicit feedback from users, provide technical support, and inform users about promotional offers. We may send you offers and information related to our Services from which you may opt out via the unsubscribe function in the email. We may also send you important account related information, from which you cannot opt out. In the event we undergo a business transaction such as a merger, acquisition by another company, or sale of all or a portion of our assets, your Personal Information may be among the assets transferred. You acknowledge and consent that such transfers may occur and are permitted by this Privacy Policy, and that any acquirer of our assets may continue to process your Personal Information as set forth in this Privacy Policy. In addition, the following are certain legitimate interests that your personal information may be used for:

  1. To send administrative information to you, for example, information regarding the Site and changes to our terms, conditions, and policies.

  2. To conduct analytics on how the Site and our Service are being used by you for our internal purposes, namely for providing, maintaining, benchmarking and improving our offerings, and identifying usage trends.

  3. We use data relating to your use of and interaction with the Site and the Services, including use of product features by you and information that we obtain through cookies and other technologies, to better understand your needs and interests in order to personalize your experience with our Services.

  4. To market our services and showcase Freelancers

  5. To prevent fraud or criminal activity, misuses of our products or services, and ensure the security of our IT systems, architecture and networks.

  6. TO:

    • (a) comply with legal obligations and legal process,

    • (b) respond to requests from public and government authorities including public and government authorities outside your country of residence;

    • (c) enforce our terms and conditions;

    • (d) protect our operations;

    • (e) protect our rights, privacy, safety or property, and/or that of you or others; and

    • (f) allow us to pursue available remedies or limit the damages that we may sustain.

  7. If you ask us to delete your data and we are required to fulfil your request, we may keep basic data to identify you and prevent further unwanted processing.

Non-Personal Information:

In general, we use Non-Personal Information to help us improve the Services and customize the user experience. We also aggregate Non-Personal Information in order to track trends and analyze use patterns on the Site. This Privacy Policy does not limit in any way our use or disclosure of Non-Personal Information and we reserve the right to use and disclose such Non-Personal Information to our partners, advertisers and other third parties at our discretion. In the event we undergo a business transaction such as a merger, acquisition by another company, or sale of all or a portion of our assets, your non-Personal Information may be among the assets transferred. You acknowledge and consent that such transfers may occur and are permitted by this Privacy Policy, and that any acquirer of our assets may continue to process your Personal Information as set forth in this Privacy Policy.

If our information practices change at any time in the future, we will post the policy changes to the Site so that you may opt out of the new information practices. We suggest that you check the Site periodically if you are concerned about how your information is used.


We implement security measures designed to protect your information from unauthorized access. Your account is protected by your account password and we urge you to take steps to keep your personal information safe by not disclosing your password and by logging out of your account after each use. We further protect your information from potential security breaches by implementing certain technological security measures including encryption, firewalls and secure socket layer technology. However, these measures do not guarantee that your information will not be accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed by breach of such firewalls and secure server software. By using our Services, you acknowledge that you understand and agree to assume these risks.


You have the right at any time to prevent us from contacting you for marketing purposes. When we send a promotional communication to a user, the user can opt out of further promotional communications by following the unsubscribe instructions provided in each promotional e-mail. Please note that notwithstanding the promotional preferences you indicate by either unsubscribing or opting out in the Settings section of the Site, we may continue to send you administrative emails including, for example, periodic updates to our Privacy Policy, or other important account information.


”Customer Data” means all information processed or stored on the Service by Customer or on Customer’s behalf, as well as any information derived from such information. Customer Data includes, without limitation: (1) information provided on the Service; (2) information provided to TalentCheetah by customer’s customers or other users or by other third parties; and (3) personally identifiable information from such customers, users, or other third parties.

(a) Access, Use, & Legal Compulsion. Unless it receives Customer’s prior written consent, TalentCheetah:

  • shall not access, process, or otherwise use Customer Data other than as necessary to facilitate the Services;

  • shall not give any of its employees’ access to Customer Data except to the extent that such individual needs access to facilitate performance under this Agreement and is subject to a reasonable written nondisclosure agreement with TalentCheetah protecting such data, with terms reasonably consistent with those of this Section; and

  • shall not give any third party access to Customer Data. Notwithstanding the foregoing, TalentCheetah may disclose Customer Data as required by applicable law or by proper legal or governmental authority. TalentCheetah shall give Customer prompt notice of any such legal or governmental demand and reasonably cooperate with Customer in any effort to seek a protective order or otherwise to contest such required disclosure, at Customer’s expense.

(b) Customer’s Rights. Customer possesses and retains all right, title, and interest in and to Customer Data, and TalentCheetah’s use and possession thereof is solely on Customer’s behalf.

(c) Children. TalentCheetah does not knowingly collect Personal Data from children under the age of 13. If you are under the age of 13, please do not submit any Personal Data through the Site. We encourage parents and legal guardians to monitor their children’s Internet usage and to help enforce our Privacy Policy by instructing their children never to provide Personal Data on this Site without their permission. If you have reason to believe that a child under the age of 13 has provided Personal Data to TalentCheetah through this Site, please contact us, and we will make best efforts to delete that information from our databases as soon as practical.


As part of the Services, we may provide links to or compatibility with other websites or applications. However, we are not responsible for the privacy practices employed by those websites or the information or content they contain. This Privacy Policy applies solely to information collected by us through the Site and the Service. Therefore, this Privacy Policy does not apply to your use of a third party website accessed by selecting a link on our Site or via our Services. To the extent that you access or use the Service through or on another website or application, then the privacy policy of that other website or application will apply to your access or use of that site or application. We encourage our users to read the privacy statements of other websites before proceeding to use them.

Your access to and use of this Site is subject to our Terms of Service.


TalentCheetah reserves the right to change this policy and our Terms of Use at any time. We will notify you of significant changes to our Privacy Policy by sending a notice to the primary email address specified in your account or by placing a prominent notice on our site. Significant changes will go into effect 30 days following such notification. Non-material changes or clarifications will take effect immediately. You should periodically check the Site and this privacy page for updates.
