TalentCheetah Profile Video
Guidelines for Freelance Professionals
TalentCheetah's mission is to accelerate hiring for business clients and freelancers. This is why we require that all Professionals in our network create a Profile Video. Profile videos provide a key data point that clients can leverage to expedite their selection process.
We encourage you to take your time and record an interesting, short (< 1 min) video to highlight your
experience and make your profile stand out!
Record your video using a webcam, smartphone, video camera or video platform (e.g., Zoom). No specialized experience or equipment is required.
Post your completed video to YouTube and paste the embed code directly into your TalentCheetah Registration form. Step-by-step instructions, including the required video script and an example, are below.
Profile Video Requirements
- You alone must appear in the video. No group videos.
- You must use the profile video script below; however, feel free to be creative and include any additional information to highlight your career achievements. Make it your own!
- Video should not exceed 1 minute in duration.
- Your video must be recorded in English.
- Do not provide your personal contact information in your video.
- Do not advertise or promote other services, websites, etc. in your video (exception--feel free to include the name of your consulting firm/company)
- Do not include music or excessive background noise in your video.
- Do not shoot vertical / square videos.

Hello, my name is <Your Name Here> of <Optional, Your company name, if applicable, e.g. ABC Consulting>. I am excited to partner with TalentCheetah.
- How many years of project and/or program management experience do you have? In which sectors/industries?
- What types of project opportunities are you most interested in? (e.g., PMO Strategic Advisor, Technical Project or Program Management, IT Project Management, Agile Transformation Advisor, Agile or Project Management Coach/Trainer, etc.)
- Share a fun fact about yourself. (e.g., I volunteer at the local children’s hospital or My hobby is restoring vintage cars)

How to upload your video to YouTube
To upload your video
from a computer, follow these steps:
- Go to YouTube and sign in
or create an account if you don’t have one.
- Click the "Upload" button in the top right hand corner.
- Select "Unlisted" from the drop-down menu. (Privacy must be set to either "Unlisted" or "Public." If public, anyone on YouTube can view).
- Select your profile video from your computer.
- Change the title of your video to "TalentCheetah Profile Video: <Your first Name, First Initial of Last name>." (Example: Bob Smith would be "TalentCheetah Profile Video: Bob S")
- On the "Advanced" settings tab, make sure "Allow Embedding" is checked.
- Click "Done" to finish.

How to locate and copy your YouTube Embed Code Watch How-To Video
To locate and copy your
YouTube video embed code: 1. After uploading your video to YouTube, click on the
“Share” icon directly below your video.
2. Click on the
“Embed” (< >) icon.
3. Click
“COPY” in the lower right corner to copy the embed code.
4. Paste the copied information directly into your freelancer application.
How to update your Profile Video
To update the video in your TalentCheetah profile at any time, follow these steps:
- Log in to the TalentCheetah Platform.
- Navigate to the "View Profile" Tab > Profile Video.
- Click on the pencil icon to edit.
- Delete the existing embed code.
- Paste in your new YouTube embed code.
- Click "Save" to finish.
